Why not consider becoming a Museum Volunteer?

By becoming a Museum volunteer you could learn more about Dalkeith and its interesting past and help pass this knowledge onto others.

Many visitors are still surprised to discover the Museum and are even more surprised to discover how important Dalkeith used to be.

With more volunteers we would be able to stay open longer, organise more exhibitions and events, do more research into the background of artefacts and donated items and enable more visitors of all ages look into the past.

Our current team of volunteers, are interesting, engaging individuals working together with one aim – to promote the Museum as a surprising and fascinating destination and the “must not be missed attraction” in Midlothian. We would like you to help us.
