Dark & Deadly Dalkeith Walking Tours®
Join us if you dare! Let dark and deadly secrets unfold during an evening walking tour of the closes and wynds of Dalkeith.
Step slightly off the beaten track and discover more about old Dalkeith. Signs on walls and old buildings can tell a story. Find out more next summer.
Come together for something special. A locally themed presentation or a book event in the atmospheric Museum. Great space – great place!
Welcoming the community
Dalkeith History Society & Museum offer a unique opportunity for community involvement with schools and community groups who are actively encouraged to visit.
The new Museum provides an open, welcoming public space where the rich history and heritage of Dalkeith can be discovered and explored by both visitors and local residents. The Museum is managed and run by Dalkeith History Society through the Museum Advisory Group.
Dalkeith History Society’s vision for the museum is: “to create a friendly and stimulating environment, managed by trained and motivated volunteers, where local residents and visitors can share and explore the history and heritage of Dalkeith”
